Ledger Nano or HW.1 only supports Bitcoin but if you own Ledger Nano S or Blue then you can store multiple cryptocurrencies on your device. You can install up to 5 apps at the same time on your Ledger Nano S and up to 8 to 10 apps on Ledger Blue (number may vary). You can install Ethereum Chrome application or use MyEtherWallet wallet to store Ethereum on Ledger Nano S or Blue. This is a very easy process. If you’ve moved your Bitcoin to Ledger device then you can readily move your Ethereum to Ledger. In this tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to transfer Ethereum to Ledger Nano S or Blue.
You can transfer Ethereum from exchange to Ledger wallet by using either Ether Chrome app or MyEtherWallet. If you’ve stored your ETH on a software wallet then you can move them to your Ledger wallet too. Let’s see how to move Ethereum to Ledger Nano S or Blue.

From Koinex exchange, I’ve clicked on Balances tab and then Withdraw or Send button. Note: If you’re on Coinbase then you can click on Accounts tab to access Send Ether section.
To send Ethereum to Ledger wallet, first enter amount of Ether that you want to transfer. Note: First send a small amount to verify. If there’s any remarks optional field then you can enter anything in that field like I’ve entered, “To my Ledger Nano S”. After entering all the details, hit Next or Submit button.
In the next step, you’ll be asked to enter two-factor authentication password.
