State bank of India has upgraded its mobile banking platform. Now, new and existing customers have to register on SBI anywhere personal app to use mobile banking service of the bank. It’s a kind of internet banking and mobile banking merge because after registering on SBI Anywhere app, you can use same user id and password to login to internet banking service of the bank. Though, it’s an appreciable effort from State Bank Group but some customers are facing difficulties in registration process. Existing customers, who were using mobile banking service, are unable to login to State Bank Anywhere Personal app using their SBI Freedom login credentials. So in this tutorial, I’ll be showing you how to register on SBI Anywhere Personal app. It’s a very easy process so let’s get started.
With SBI Anyhere you can perform following banking activities:
- Check account balance
- See last trasactions
- Transfer funds using Quick Fund Transfer, NEFT, IMPS, or RTGS
- Open e-deposit account
- Mobile top up, recharge, and pay your bills
- Order cheque book
- Block debit card; if it gets lost/stolen
- Request a new debit card
- and the like.
How to Register on SBI Anywhere Personal Mobile App –
There are three different ways to register on SBI Anywhere mobile banking app-
- Existing Anywhere/INB User: If you’re using SBI internet banking service then you can opt this option to register on SBI Anywhere Personal app by using your internet banking login credentials. If you want to use SBI internet banking then click here to know SBI net banking registration procedure.
- Existing Freedom User: Those who were using SBI Freedom app can use their old mobile banking user id and PIN to get registered on SBI Anywhere app.
- New User: If you’ve never used either SBI internet banking or mobile banking before then you can select this option to get registered on the app.
So here we’re going to know how to register on SBI Anywhere. We’ll discuss all three ways, one by one, to get registered on SBI Anywhere. Read on to know new SBI mobile banking registration procedure.
Before starting the procedure, you’ve to install SBI Anywhere app into your smartphone. For that purpose, open your phone’s app store like Google Playstore, and search for SBI Anywhere Personal mobile banking app. Once you searched it, just install it.
Once the app gets installed into your phone, follow any of the three ways to complete SBI mobile banking registration process.
1. How to register on SBI Anywhere app using Existing Anywhere/INB User option –
Are you using SBI internet banking service? If yes, then simply use your INB (Internet Banking) user id and password to register on SBI Anywhere app. Follow the steps given below to do so-
Open SBI Anywhere app and from the homepage tap on Existing Anywhere/INB User. Thereafter, enter your SBI internet banking user id and password.
Tap on Submit button.
Tap on the box next to “I Accept the terms and conditions” then tap on Accept.
In the next step you’ll receive one time password (OTP) on your registered mobile number. Simply enter the OTP in the given box and then hit Submit buttom.
Note: If you don’t receive OTP then tap on “Click here to resend Activation Code.”
That’s it. You will be able to read that “User Activation Successful!” Now go to the login page and get access to your SBI Anywhere account by using the same login credentials that you use for internet banking.
2. How to register on SBI Anywhere app by using SBI Freedom user id and PIN –
You can also use your old mobile banking login credentials to get registered on SBI Anywhere. For that purpose, open SBI Anywhere app and tap on “Existing Freedom User.”
After tapping on Existing Freedom User, on the next page, you’ll be asked to enter your SBI Freedom login user id and PIN. Simply enter the details and tap on submit.
Follow the screen instructions to get registered on SBI Anywhere.
3. How to register on SBI Anywhere app by using New User option –
As mentioned earlier, if you’ve not used either SBI internet banking or SBI Freedom mobile banking app before then you can use “New User” option to register yourself on SBI Anywhere. Follow the steps given below to create a new user account on State Bank Anywhere app –
Open State Bank Anywhere app and tap on “New User.”
In the next step read screen instructions and tap on Proceed. Make sure you’ve your bank passbook, debit card, and mobile number handy.
Now fill out the form. Let me help you to do so:
Enter your bank account number, CIF number, and branch code.
Note: See your bank passbook’s front page, there you can easily find CIF number and branch code.
I assume that you can fill out this form easily therefore I’m just mentioning important things here for example when you’re selecting Facility Required then make sure to select Full Transaction Rights.
In the end of the page, you’ll need to enter captcha text in the given box (see screenshot).
Once you complete the form tap on Submit button to proceed.
Similarly, in the next step, you will need to enter your debit card or ATM card details. Once you do that you will receive one time password on your registered mobile number.
Subsequently, you’ll receive your SBI mobile banking user ID and password on your registered mobile number.
