How to Connect JioFi to Laptop, Mobile or PC

In this tutorial, we will see how to connect JioFi to Laptop using USB or wirelessly. It’s a very easy process all you need to do is just connect your JioFi to computer and browse internet. Read on to know step-by-step guide.

Reliance JioFi router allows users to use internet on their mobile devices and laptops. You can connect up to 31 devices over WiFi and one device through USB port. After successful activation of Jio services, users can connect JioFi to laptop, mobile or other internet enabled devices. 

If you’re yet to activate JIO services on your JioFi router then before proceeding call at 1977 from your JIO SIM to activate the services.

How to connect JioFi to Laptop wirelessly

• Insert Reliance Jio SIM into your JioFi router. You can also read this post to know how to insert SIM into JIOFI router.
• Press power key for three seconds to turn ‘ON’ your JioFi router.
• Check signal strength. Check WiFi indicator if it’s green then your device is receiving good signal strength. Blue shows medium signal strength and red shows no SIM, no signal, or SIM is not inserted properly.
• Now, to connect JioFi to laptop, ‘turn ON’ WiFi of laptop by going into your device settings and open WiFI menu. It’ll will automatically detect available devices.
• Tap or click on JioFi network from discovered devices.
• If you’re asked to enter JioFi user ID and password, that you can find JioFi password on your JioFi router box or you can find it in the battery compartment.
• After entering login credentials, press connect button. Your laptop will be connected to JioFi router automatically.
• Follow the same steps to connect JioFi router to mobile or other devices.

How to connect JIO router to laptop using USB cable

If you really want optimum speed from your JioFi router then I recommend you connect JioFi to laptop using USB cable. After connecting your JioFi to laptop using USB cable, you will see a significant speed difference.

I always use this trick to get high speed from JioFi.

To connect your JioFi router to laptop using USB cable, grab your JioFi USB cable and connect its one end to your router and other to laptop’s USB port.

Wait till your laptop connects to your JioFi. Start browsing internet once laptop shows connected to internet.
