Federal Bank Introduces ‘Missed Call Based Mobile Recharge’ Facility
Federal bank is one those banks who are adopting digital banking solutions to provide hassle free and convenient banking to their customers. The bank has recently introduced ‘missed call balance enquiry’ service to allow customers to know their account information right from their houses or offices. Now, The Federal Bank has launched a new service called ‘missed call based mobile recharge’. Missed Call Based Mobile Recharge is a first-of-its-kind service that allows customers to recharge their mobile numbers by just giving a missed call to predefined numbers.
Customers can set recharge amount per missed call while registering for this service. This service is available for domestic customers only. Currently, this service is available free of cost and customers can add up to 5 beneficiaries. To avail this facility, customer’s mobile number should be linked with his/her account. Here are some highlights and limitations of this service;
Available 24×7, throughout the year including Sundays
Free of cost
You can add up to five beneficiaries
Daily limit Rs 1000/- and monthly cap is fixed at Rs 10,000/- per customer
Maximum five transactions permitted per month (per beneficiary)

After sending a message in above format from your registered mobile number; in a short time, you’ll receive an activation of service message or telling you if there is any problem with activation.
Once you get activation message, just give a missed call to 84317-00700 from your or beneficiary’s (if any) mobile number; if you want to recharge.
