Add Twittter Button to a blog

Twitter is an online social media site.There are millions of people who use twitter. Twitter has  more than 645 million users. So it would be a great idea to add twitter button on a blog/website to grow your audience. With the help of twitter button your audience can follow you on twitter and you can share your new post on twitter. You can readily add twitter button to your blog/site. You may read “How to add stylish Social Media Icons to a Blog?” To add Twitter button to your blog/site follow these steps.

Step 1: First of all,Go to Twitter buttons page or Click here  TWITTER.

Step 2: When you will click on above link, you will be redirected to Twitter buttons page. When Twitter button page will appear on your screen then select Follow button as shown in screenshot:

Step 3: Thereafter enter your Twitter user name in user field and then select/deselect Show user name (if you want to show your twitter user name with button then select this otherwise deselect it).

Step 4: In right hand side page will show you your twitter button preview and code. You can change icon of Twitter button by selecting options that are showing below the user name (you can change icon size also). Now click on the button to check your twitter button. After selecting icon just click on the code to highlight it and copy url of your twitter button that is showing in the box.

Step 5: Now go to your blog Dashboard. Select template thereafter Edit Html.

Press Ctrl+F key and find code shown below.

Step 6: After finding the above code just paste twitter button url before or after the above code (if you paste Html code before the body code then twitter button will appear on the top of the posts, if you paste Html code code after the code then button will appear below the posts). Paste Twitter button code wherever you find  code. After adding Save Template Now your Twitter button will appear in every post.

To Add Twitter Button to Blogger Sidebar

STEP 1: First of all, go to Blogger dashboard and click on Layout. Then, click on Add a Gadget. Select Html/Java script from the Gadgets:

Step 2: Now, Do not write anything in title just paste your Twitter button url in Content field and save Gadget. Before saving arrangement click on Preview to see your Twitter button. If you want to place your twitter button some other place then drag html/java script gadget where you want to place it.

Note: Please backup your blog before starting because this will ensure to prevent any data loose.
